Biography
Yousef is currently a postdoctoral fellow working in the laboratory of Dr. Hiromitsu Nakauchi lab at Center for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine, the institute of medical sciences, in the University of Tokyo, Japan. Since my Ph.D. work, Yousef have been working in the field of hematopoiesis and cancer genomics, more specifically studying the hematopoietic stem cell niche and the function of angiocrine factors derived from this niche on modulating stem cell.
Research Interest
Yousef have gained expertise in molecular biology and animal experimentation, especially in generating and analyzing genetically engineered mice. Through analyses of the mutant mice, Yousef have had extensive experience in histological, biochemical, and behavioral techniques, as well as in vitro experiments with cultured cells/HSCs. Yousef am also highly motivated to get into a new research field and to master new techniques.
